General Questions/New to Joomla! 5.x • Reset admin password instruction don't work

Hello, I've been trying to login to my admin page and for whatever reasons i cannot. Then I used instruction from clicking Forgot your login details?

I used Method2 and no matter how many time i changed the value of the passowrd to any of the ones provided there still no luck

Method1 is a little confusing to me. For example I understand up until it says

to the bottom of the list where myname is a username with Administrator access that you know the password for. A username that is in the Author User Group view access level or higher can also be used in place of a username with Administrator access.

I opened my configuration.php file and added this line than I dont know what else to edit, change, add on the configuration file. The permission are set at 0600 by default
