Two problems. If the FPA script is run from the command prompt, it shows the details of the version of PHP used by Command Line Interface (CLI), which details can be different from the version of PHP configured with the web server.

Contact your host and get the correct credentials how to connect to the separate MySQL server. The host may also have to adjust the firewall settings in both servers. Once Joomla has been installed, the FPA script will have the configuration details and hopefully avoid the redirection issue.My first time trying to install Joomla_5.0.3-Stable-Full_Package. During install it says "A Database error occurred."
