I was ready to state that 5.2.0 has a serious issue with the menu. But what I'm finding is that if you install 5.1.4 as the default / base for the site build, the menu in that version has the same issue as 5.2.0
So now I'm wondering how far back that menu issue goes. I gave up on the J menu in the new build on which I'm working and had to install a third-party menu.
It's not that it stops me from using Joomla. That will never happen.
I'm just saying, I've been going through several upgrades since the initial install of J5 and, apparently, the menu has had a problem somewhere earlier than 5.1.4.
It went from working great in 5, to it doesn't work at all in 5.1.4 and 5.2.0
I guess when I get some time I'll go back through the versions and use each as a new install and see where the problem started.
